Weblog Todas is proud to show a selection of Rosie´s images during this summer. Rosie the Riveter is a cultural icon representing all women who work.
History: was used in war factories during World War II

Rosie the Riveter

The image most iconically associated with Rosie is J. Howard Miller’s famous poster for Westinghouse, titled “We Can Do It!” (slogan and icoun at our weblog), which was modeled on the middle Michigan factory worker Geraldine Doyle in 1942.

Rosie the Riveter Exhibit: Visitors will find a small exhibit at Blog Todas Gallery where you can take a free copy of Rosie´s famous female icon.
